something under 40"

Definitely under 40". Other than that total personal preference.

Do you fins in the board for a beginner?
|
I'm 6'1'' 180 lbs. Is a 42'' good for me?
|
michael, i'd say that 42" is a little too big for you, go with a 38 to 40. i'm a lot heavier than you and use a 41" Oak. :D but it's all personal preference.

what do you guys think of the liquid force impulse? Its gonna be my first board and ive heard some good things about it and its really cheap on evo gear.

for a solid wood concave that you can get for a good price i would check out Woodworks. they will get you a board any size you want for $230. I usually recommend Oak Wakeskates as well but they are not available yet as well as Remote Wakeskates. |
