I own a 1990 Sport Nautique and can get a pretty good deal on a perfect pass wakeboard pro system. The problem is I called the only boat service place in town to get a quote on installation and they want to charge me like $750 which is way more than I would pay for the system. Is installing a perfect pass system very complicated? Is it something I could tackle myself?

The hardest thing about installing PP is if you don't have a paddlewheel speedo pick-up,you have to choose the right placement and drill a large hole in bottom of the hull. The rest of the install is pretty easy.

I actually think the paddlewheel install is pretty easy, it's just probably the most nerve racking. All in all it is a very easy job. I think it took my dad and i 2.5 hours and that's just because we each read the instructions three times befor each step. If we were to do it again. we could probably do it in an hour or so. <BR>Just take your time and you'll be fine.
