as long as you have firewire connections you should be fine. but im not completley sure, i've never thought there would be compatibility issues between premier and camera.

I can't seem to get Premiere 6.5 to recognize the camera and I think it's because the camera records in HD. I'm not a 100% sure so I was trying to confirm with someone who knows....

You need to upgrade to premire pro 1.5 or 2.0 with service pack 2 or another HD editing program
