The board is awesome, and that is a killer deal on that setup. If I were you I would ride the 142.

I am 160lbs and 6' tall and ride the 142

i had (female) co-workers who were smaller and lighter than me that preferred my recoil 142 to the 137 syn (2007 era) shape they typically rode. Even with the greater size and surface area the first thing they noticed and commented on was the lightness.
slingshot boards are not THE lightest boards (only a select few are lighter, like the sub 6) on the market but they sure do FEEL like they are the lightest!

ENJOY!

(Message edited by wakerider111 on December 16, 2008)

no a 134 board can go up to a 170 pounds.. if your going to stick with losing wieght i would sugeest that but if your going to stay the same weight i would get a 138

Jay,

Possibly the absolute "safest" route for sizing would be to get the size closest to the size of boards you typically ride.
If the size of board you typically ride lands between the sizes offered by slingshot then I (personally) would recommend the larger size vs the smaller just because of what i said before, that the boards are so unbelievably light!

i was fooled by the meter just now...guess the meter isn't working quite right on today's steal. I am sure it will pop up again, blank, or a response or something
