I love the color!! Wish the worlds had a blue option....o well black looks good too.

Houstonshark 09-13-2012 9:09 AM

That's sweet. Can you post some interior pics? If you're going out, wakeboard and wakesurf wake pics would be awesome too!

Can someone explain to me what the difference is between the Worlds and the SA 350-550s? Thanks

wakesetter_WW 09-13-2012 9:22 AM

Haven't been able to see one in person but how is it only rated for a capacity of 10 people while the MXZ is rated for 15? I've been looking at the specs and can't figure out where some of the space went. The MXZ beam is 102 and the SA is 100. However the length on the MXZ is 23'3 and the SA is 23'6.

I am going to take a guess and say it has nothing to do with room in the boat. It probably all has to do with getting some sort of certification where they are counting all the ballast, including the plug and play into the max capacity. I wouldnt' be surprised if we see more companies doing this to help protect themselves from lawsuits like what happened in the X45 case.

Engine.

ralph 09-13-2012 11:29 AM

I'm not much of a fan of pickle forks but that boat is freakin beautiful

bzubke1 09-13-2012 12:38 PM

I'm curious if the 350 has enough power once you have around 4k in weight in the boat. If you happen to do that let us know what you think.

Just engine size and options, or are you asking specifics?

tyler97217 09-13-2012 4:39 PM

Just plain sick! Can't wait to see one out here. I have a feeling it could be my next boat......

what my dealer said was this(this almost stopped me from buying this!!) was master craft had a law suit agianst them and soon all boats will have to figure in the ballast in with there ppl. so thats y if u noticed the 242 went down in 2013 to 16ppl or 15(dont remember) from 17! i think in the future u will c more ppl doing this. it does suck for sure!

the worlds is a package..like the silver flake, lights, speakers, and 18s on trailer(also many other small things on trailer)..i thinkn the worlds package was like 4500 more. but if u added all the extras on there it would come out to way more. even like the under water lighting and all. its basicly the fully loaded version...thats how i understand it.

migs 09-13-2012 6:07 PM

So Gangster!

fatwing 09-14-2012 11:33 AM

Sorry it took so long!!!
I'm a dealer just wanted to make sure that is out there.

Likes SA 350

1) Skier's Choice best product to date
2) Wake is clean at 16.7mph (great for small kids)
3) Fit and Finish ( The best SC has out so Far)
4) Plenty of Storage
5) Driver seat is super comfortable
6) Speed control at the steering wheel ( easy to make speed adjustments without taking your eyes off the rider and surroundings)
7) The new Vision touch screen is easy to work. It even worked with my hands wet.
8) No cavitations when loaded or in the turns
9) No rolling or banking in the turns
10) The wake was easy to set up, not sensitive like the past Supra's (we were off set by 200lbs and the wake was clean)
11) The wake was really rampy, a nice lip at the top with a ton of boot
12) The engine sounds mean!!!

How we had it set up:

900 in floor ballast
1600 in the flex ballast ( 600 rear 600 rear 400 bow)
450 sac front 450 sac floor
760 lbs in people
364 lbs in gas
total weight 4524

The 350 Engine

Does great with stock and flex ballast. When we added the additional sacs it planed out fine. Any more added weight it had a hard time. For most people that is plenty of engine. If you are wanting to be a pro or need more the 4000 lbs then I would bump up to the 450.

The Dislikes:

1) Hard to see the vision due to the steering wheel
2) Tower has a spot on it that could be finished better (Rosewell)
3) Had to drive it a little more careful once we put 4000 lbs in it (unlike the Moomba Mojo)
4) Hard to come up with more!!

drive139 09-14-2012 1:06 PM

Danny, what is the MSRP on the 350?

polarbill 09-14-2012 1:26 PM

My early guess is 100k msrp for that boat with a realistic selling price of 85k. Am I close?

spencerwm 09-14-2012 2:09 PM

That wake looks awesome.

you_da_man 09-14-2012 2:14 PM

Boat and wake looks awesome. Just asking....but did you guys just get the boat and then just slammed all the weight into it without breaking in the engine?

what do they call for break in? i heard like 3-5 hours??? that would b easy!! man i cant wait!

bbr 09-14-2012 7:43 PM

The boat looks great, but the wake doesn't look that nice to me. I mean with 3000lbs of ballast that thing should be way bigger IMO. Our wake is bigger in a 5' deep lake. With all the hoopla surrounding the "Shock and Awe" I would have expected bigger things from the wake.

Never seen a break-in recommendation under 10 hours. Supra/Moomba recommends 10 hours. I guess a dealer demo boat so it'll be sold off to someone else

nitrousbird 09-15-2012 6:31 AM

From what I've seem to be reading, this boat sounds MORE expensive than the MXZ...but I can't see a single reason for purchasing this over the MXZ.

fatwing 09-15-2012 8:14 AM

We did do the break in period on the boat. The boat was here a couple of days before we took it out and tested it. Indmars break in period is 10hrs.
The MSRP on this boat is 102

bzubke1 09-15-2012 8:16 AM

How much will the boat actually go for 80k?

boardman74 09-15-2012 8:28 AM

Boat looks sweet!! Wake looks big!! Great looking boat.
