Hiya everyone
I'm a newbie to wakeworld here (warning!) so please be patient with me. I was just curious if anybody has a beginner chick wakeboard in the Parry Sound or Toronto-ish area that they are looking to sell? I don't care if it's been used/abused and has some battle scars I just want something to practice and learn on at the cottage this coming summer...wakeboarding looks insanely fun!! I'm 5foot 8 and weigh about 120. Any responses would be greatly appreciated. Thnx.

Hi Jen,

Welcome to your new addiction! I can't help you with your board but I'm sure you will find something. You might check the classifieds on this site or try ebay if you don't have a local board shop. Some board shops sell used equipment so that is a spot to check, too. Keep in mind that you don't need a women's specific board - unless you really want a pink or purple setup. Some beginner boards that are "for men" will be more available - and will work the same for people of any gender. I really like a Hyperlite Motive for beginners but there are lots of other models out there that will get you going.

Have fun and keep us posted on your progress.
