This last weekend we tried wakesurfing for the first time, wow is it fun. We used our old skurfer, and i could ride w/o the rope for about 10 seconds, im just too big for it to float me. So now that we can wakesurf, we want to demo a board, and since ive already found out what wakeboard i want from the demo program im doing, i have 3 more demos to use up, so what wakesurf boards should i try? i think i can demo anything from hyperlite liquid force and cwb. its the boarders paradise in santa clara. So what to try out, riders will be me various friends, and my lil brother who is already ripping it up.

You you should come out to the WakeSurf Contest at Calero Lake in San Jose on June 26th. If you would like to enter there is a beginner division. Also, there will be a clinic in which you can also demo different boards from Hyperlite, Awakesurf, Shredstixx, Shorline and Inland Surfer. Here is some more info.
http://www.wakeworld.com/news/2004/wakesurfjam1.asp

unless you can move it to before june 17 i can not go, for I will be surfing for real until the 2nd week of july. We are going out this weekend, its looking like the broadcast or skim skate?

I just picked up a broadcast this spring and I am very pleased with it. I weigh about 185lbs and it floats me no problem.
