Anyone throwing down nollie tricks or fackie (switch nollie) tricks. Last weekend i did a fackie bigspin like byerly does in metrenome. Ill post pics soon. Post some pics of stuff like that u have done.

There is no such thing as a switch nollie. It would be a fakie ollie. Nice work on the bigspin though man.

Bigspin would be different than the technique for an ollie. On a bigspin you are pivoting off the back of the board. I think if you tried a true nollie you'd end up falling over the front and the board would be under the water.

what is a nollie? a front footed ollie?

(Message edited by warlock00 on September 10, 2003)

Sorry I meant the bigspin is a different technique than the nollie not an ollie.

A nollie is when you are going forward and you ollie off the nose of the board with your front foot.

As you can see in Nick's video (Very impressive btw) he is rotating the board before he pops, so I wouldn't consider it a nolie trick.

if u wouldnt call it a nollie trick what would u call it cause im not ollieng off the tail for pop.

blabel 09-28-2003 2:16 PM

My point is you could probably do that on a skateboard without touching the tail so is that still considered a nollie?

I guess it could go either way but it seems to me if you do a true nollie the nose of the board would be underwater.

you don't nollie into a bigspin on a skateboard either, its just a shove it.

ahuser22 10-28-2003 12:48 PM

Alright let me just break down the trick.

-You were riding normally
-You start to switch your foot position so your front foot is sliding counter-clockwise.
- you bust an ollie and shuvit

It seems like you did a fakie ollie, not nollie
A true nollie, as Blabel said, would put your nose under water
