I just found two deals on these boards and i have ridden the monarch and i like it but i was leaning twards the marek but i havnt riden it yet i just wanted to make sure it was light and has a lot of pop and dosnt ride too glued down to the water. Let me know your opinion. thanks

I have the Marek board and it rides really nice, very light and surface tricks are really easy compared to all the other boards I have been on.

I was interested in the Monarch too. What did it ride like? I want a quicker board. Not necessarily blazing fast, but quicker than my Slingshot Recoil. Where is that deal you found on that Monarch if you dont mind me asking Mike?

I liked the monarch it dosnt ride very fast tho but the pop was great the landings smooth and the board was the lightest i have ben on just just like the sub vi just a little slower and a bit less pop but still a great board, i will let you know where i found the board as soon as i buy the marek but the monarch is my backup b/c i dont have a board rite now and i need to get one but i will be sure to let you know

^ i think he is voting for it like some people do but just ten votes at once. <BR> <BR>I can honestly say it is the liveliest, funnest board i have ever ridden. very fast, LOOSE when flat but rolls pretty sensitively on edge and holds it well. there must be some pretty aggressive kink in the tip/tail 'cause it pops fierce. if you're not careful at first it can throw you off, but once used to it you feel like you hit a double up every time. no joke. ride it for yourself and see.
