My new baby boy!

My wife gave birth to our first child on Wednesday April 4th at 9:33pm weighing 6lbs 8oz. His name is Nixon. Both mom and baby are both doing really well. The boat hours this year along with the next couple may suffer a bit but it's all worth it. He just has to be on a set of ski's or a wakeboard by 6 months and 28 days so he can beat Parks' record.

Congratulations. He looks pretty serious in that first picture. Probably wondering if you're going to take him for a ride in that Banana mobile parked outside.

Awesome, congrats. Did you guys have to stay in the NICU at all? We had one that was 6 lbs 8oz and were in the NICU for a week.

Congrats. I have two boys myself (2 and a half, and 7 months). Those first couple weeks are the best (minus the up all night part). I really enjoyed when they would sleep on my chest. Get it all in now, because soon he will be mobile and not quite as easy / willing to be held.

No, he was fine. He took a minute to start crying when he first came out but he was moving around. We had to stay for 24 hours so he could have a blood test done the following day then we got to go home. I'm pretty lucky. My wife is a nurse and one of her good friends is a NICU nurse so she stayed with us at home the first night to help my wife get sorted.
