Fuel filter question?
 

I have an 04 Supra Launch LTS that I'm trying to replace the fuel filter on. My question is, my dealer said the filter was directional and to make sure the arrow was pointing towards the engine. When I pulled out the old one it had the arrow pointing towards the gas tank. Common sense would seem to have the arrow pointing towards the gas flow. Anyone know which direction is correct?

On a fluid system the arrow will indicate the direction of flow.
