My uncle has asked me to help him rebuild his boat seats for his jet boat. I wasn't sure what kind of wood to use to make the structure part of the seats. Also where do you find the wood to buy? Thanks josh

You can use exterior grade fir plywood and Douglas fir for the solid wood parts...I would coat both with epoxy

I would try to use a thick plastic ike they use now on boat seats. If you have to use plywood make sure you coat it with resin

Use Aquapanel without epoxy - no rot, treated with copper.
