Is there any difference in shape, size, hull design, performance.....between the 04 and 05 X2s?

Same boat, a few different accessories, as Matt mentioned. I think 05 also has drive by wire.

New style Tower with swivel board racks, Billet aluminum dash, MCX Engine (350 HP), and "Throttle By Wire". The electronic T.B.W. is super smooth and fast. It takes a little getting used to because there is no resistance from a throttle cable.

Billet was stock in 04 and the MCX was an option. The swivel board racks came in 05, and I can't believe that no one's mentioned that the bimini started mounting to the tower in 05 as well. The Bimini is sweet. The other feature is the MC Speed control which I didn,t like. I switched over to Perfect Pass which is definitely more user friendly.
