Finally!

I was locked out for three days!

Never got to talk smack before yesterday's game and from the resulting arse whipping we took it's a good thing!

Funny thing is... we win at home against the Cards this week (which we will do) and could be tied for first place in our division.:D

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE the Seahawks to beat the Steelers, but no way in hell that is actually going to happen.

Hopefully the Saints can knock-off the bears, I hate the bears.

Oakland goes 2-0
San Fran plays well and Romo is Romo 9ers have a chance

Packers squeak by Panthers.Cam throws for 400 yards.Packers defense?Steelers shut out the squaks.Saints easily handle DA Bears..Browns tame the colts.Bucs pull off a 2nd half comeback on the vikes.Redskins get very lucky with their sloppy play and squeak by the cards despite dominating the stats.LIONS roar past the chiefs.Jets return to form against the jags.Bills can't stop the raiders, but can out score them.Titans suprise the ravens.Houston further humiliates the dolphins.Patriots take advantage of charger miscues.COWBOYS 2nd and 3rd string recievers come up big for Romo[who played with broken ribs and a punctured lung]345 yards and 2 td's no int's.Denvers squeaks by bengals.Falcons Ground MIKE VICK !Giants take advantage of rams miscues. What have we learned ?You need to play all 4 quarters.

cwb4me 09-23-2011 10:10 AM

Haven't heard much smack this week. How's Seattle going to do against Arizona this week.;)

brett33 09-23-2011 11:34 AM

sidekicknicholas 09-23-2011 12:22 PM

JAC @ CAR -- Panthers get their 1st win
SF @ CIN -- San Fran goes 2-1.... Frank Gore destroys Cinny
MIA @ CLE - Mia in a boring ass game
NE @ BUF - Shootout with NE on top
NYG @ PHI - Philly if Vick survives, if he is knocked out in the first half then NYG
DET @ MIN - Detroit !!! I have to be in MLPS for work all next week so I'll probably catch this game since they'll be giving tickets away
HOU @ NO - I think the Texas can win this
DEN @ TEN - Titans, CJ will finallllly get going
NYJ @ OAK - THE RAIDERS!!!!! Black hole eats Rex's fat ass
BAL @ STL - If Jackson is playing and 90% I'll say its a tossup. Rice vs. Jackson in a shootout (if Jackson doesn't play - Ravens)
KC @ SD - Go Chargers, GO!
ATL @ TB - I really don't know.... both teams have been lame this year. I'll go falcons because Roddy White is a stud
ARI @ SEA - I like the Cards in this one
GB @ CHI - PACKERS !!!!!!! #52 is going to ass-pound Cutler to bits.
PIT @ IND - Big Ben keeps his record going and rapes another, this time, the colts
WAS @ DAL - I like Washington in this.... don't know why, most likely because I hate the cowboys.

seattle 09-23-2011 5:49 PM

Here we go...

We finally get to play a team at home!

With the attitudes and complacency put in check by Pete and the game being in our house we win!

San Fran wins

St Louis loses

I'm up 45.00 (I decided to up my bet just a bit) after Pittsburgh's shellacking of the Seahawks. I think Seattle begins the season 0-3 after a loss to the Cards. How much longer will Pete be welcome in Seattle???

Titans surprised me with their play against the Ravens. Maybe the surprise team in the NFL this year?

I'M NOT GOING TO GET DESSERT.I had too many words to eat for dinner.Congrats Cliff your seahawks were the superior birds on this day.:D

sidekicknicholas 09-25-2011 5:49 PM

Some great games.... here is what I've learned through week 3:

Seahawks won a divisional game.... which means the seahawks won against a ****ty team. 9ers are on top of that division and I see the season ending that way

Packers are the team to beat in the NFC (and NFL)... their defense could use some work but Rodgers and everyone he has to throw to are awesome.

The mighty Tom Brady is human.... Patriots offense maybe the best in the league, but their D is sort of like a coffee filter, it'll slow stuff down but not stop it.

Cutler is worthless.

RAIDERS!.... Run DMC is a stud.

Detroit is for real.

brett33 09-25-2011 7:06 PM

still shaking my head about the Cards/ Seahawks game... ouch.

cwb4me 09-26-2011 9:00 PM

Well Tony Romo and the Dallas Defense proved even though they were banged up they could win.Despite numerous missed holding calls against Washington on Demarcus Ware.Muffed snaps, wrong routes and B/S spearing call against Alan Ball with a legal hit on Santana Moss. The Refs couldn't help the Skins.EVEN though they had their blinders on when Dallas was on D,but they didn't miss any ticky tac calls on Dallas. The true test will be next week when Dallas has to play Detroit. They need to play better to beat a Quality team like Detroit, unlike the Overrated Skins.;)

seattle 10-01-2011 10:42 AM

Oh fellas....

Seattle against Atlanta at home... too easy... Da Hawks.

NY at Az - NY
San Fran at Philly - Philly
Skins at St Louis - Skins

By the end of the day tomorrow My glorious Hawks will be sitting at 2-2 poised to bump San Fran out of the NFC West lead.

hatepain 10-01-2011 11:43 AM

CAR@CHI - Bears
BUF@CIN - Bengals (This is gonna be a close one but we won't see the Bills go to 4-0
TEN@CLE - Titans (Matt's playing great and CJ is going to get going)
DET@DAL - Boys (I hate em but its just to much to ask of Detroit to go 4-0 in Texas)
PIT@HOU - Texans (Bit of a toss up so I'll go home team and Teaxans should be able to run the ball well)
NO@JAC - Saints (To easy)
MIN@KC - Cheifs (Vikings fall to 0-4 and McNabb is replaced at some point in the game)
SF@PHI - Eagles (Philly is pissed and needs a win which should come easy against a bad team at home)
WAS@STL - Rams (just because its at home and Bradfords good there)
NYG@ARI - Giants (by 7)
ATL@SEA - Hawks (Just have a weird feeling we're gonna win, especially if White doesn't play and CL is a tough place to win at)
DEN@GB - Packers (Packers are just to good especially at home)
NE@OAK - Patriots (This should be a good game with loads of scooring and little defense, Pats have a better O)
MIA@SD - Chargers (This should be a pretty easy one and puts Sporano further on the hot seat)
NYJ@BAL - Jets (They need this win and will get it with a proffecient offense, nothing flashy but no mistakes)
IND@TB - Bucs (Indy has nooo direction right now)

seattle 10-02-2011 5:50 PM

Soooo friggen close today! Heart breaking!

Congrats to San Fran for being able to get it done.

cwb4me 10-02-2011 6:03 PM

Looks like i suck at picks this week. But Nick and Cliff are keeping me company while NP3 is holding the lead and Hate is a close second. If Dallas and Philly hadn't given their games away with turnovers i could have been in the hunt.Good Romo[1st half]Bad ROMO [2ND half],just fumbles for Philly.

cwb4me 10-02-2011 8:21 PM

Looks like the sunday night game will end with the jets defense scoring as many touchdowns as the steelers today. The Ravens will have as many as the Steelers and Texans combined.

wakeboardern1 10-02-2011 10:16 PM

Tony Sparano's days are numbered. 0-4... Argh.

sidekicknicholas 10-03-2011 5:54 AM

Aaron Rodgers is a freak. I'm bias and from Wisconsin, but holy **** some of those throws he was making were insane. Seriously 1'x1' windows to fit the ball and he was hitting it on the money.

1st player in NFL history to have:
400+ passing yards
4+ TD passes
2+ rushing TDs

... again, I'm sure I have some bias, but I don't think its a stretch to say he is the BEST QB in the NFL right now.

I just can't believe how bad the Rams are! Who would have thought they could go so far backwards, especially after playing so well in the preseason. Washington should be embarrassed by only beating them by 7 this weekend. Soooooo discouraging to watch because there is virtually no good points to hang your fan hat on!

Time for this weeks picks.I hope i do better than last week.
PHI@BUF-Bills
NO@CAR-Saints
OAK@HOU-Texans
KC@IND-Toss up but i'll go with Colts[they got to win sooner or later]
CIN@JAC-Believe in the Bengals balance
ARI@MIN-Vikings
SEA@NYG-Giants
TEN@PIT-Titans
TB@SF-Bucs
SD@DEN-Chargers
NYJ@NE-Big rivalry game,Sanchez chokes and Brady makes the plays.Patriots
GB@ATL-I see a repeat of last years playoffs, close one but Packers win.
CHI@DET-Lions 5-0
let's see if i do better than last week.

hatepain 10-06-2011 6:27 PM

PHI@BUF-Eagles...Head says Bills but Philly has to win this game and will
NO@CAR-Saints...Shoot out but Breese out shoots the kid
OAK@HOU-Houston...they are the real deal, over 200 yards of rushing and ball control.
KC@IND-Colts...but just because they are home
CIN@JAC-Bengals
ARI@MIN-Vikings...a little better though not much and a home game
SEA@NYG-Giants...It'd be a miracle if we went east and won a game
TEN@PIT-Titans...Yep, Hasselbeck and the boys go in to Pittsburgh for some Hasselbeck revenge
TB@SF-Niners...Freemans a stud but SF is coming off a big win and at home
SD@DEN-Chargers...Denver just isn't good in any area right now
NYJ@NE-Patriots...Jets drop to 2-3, Brady makes a statement
GB@ATL-Packers...they firing on all cylinders right now and they tear up the passing game in the dome
CHI@DET-Lions...Keep waiting for them to slip but they haven't yet so I'll jump on board

sidekicknicholas 10-07-2011 5:58 AM

PHI@BUF- Bills, Vick sucks it up again
NO@CAR- Saints... I think cam has some serious firepower but not enough to keep up
OAK@HOU- RAIDERS!... I think Andre being out will fluster them out of the gates, and Texans run D is shotty... DMC!
KC@IND- Indy gets a W.... finally. They've been looking better and better and I think its time they do it
CIN@JAC- Dalton is looking strong and besides MJD what do the Jags have?!
ARI@MIN- Vikings get their first win. I think McNabb has a "save my starting role" kind of game
SEA@NYG- Giants, sorry Cliff, T-Jack sucks something fierce
TEN@PIT- Titans! I think CJ has 100+ yards with Harrison out.... I hate the steelers
TB@SF- 9ers!!!!! TB hasn't looked all that great his year and I think the 9ers are catching their stride, last week's win helped a lot
SD@DEN- Chargers, Denver is all sorts of awful
NYJ@NE- NE by a lot.... Jets offense is just ugly, and I don't think they stand a chance in hell keeping up with Brady
GB@ATL- I think Rodgers has another INSANE game and makes the Falcons look stupid, like was said, repeat of NFC (not close though) BLOWOUT!
CHI@DET- Bears, I think the Lions lose, don't know why.... but the NFC north is weird about losing to each other.

10-07-2011 10:01 AM

Headed to Candlestick for the game this week. Let's do this 9ers!

seattle 10-07-2011 3:37 PM

Gonna be a tough one this week but I think you all know who I'm taking between Sea - NY. After finding our way a little too late last week we're looking promising. My Hawks are gonna squeak one out I tell ya...

Tampa over San Fran

Vikes over Az

Dave's boys catch a break with a bye.

misteve 10-10-2011 8:56 AM

Man! If the Seahawks don't have 2 turnovers in the redzone we could've scored 50!

Although I must say the Giants helped us out with 2 false starts inside the 10, those have got to be BRUTAL if you're a NY fan...

That SNF game was tough, you can only hold Rodgers and the Pack down for so long, 14 points in the 1st qtr then nothing else for the Falcons??

ScottR 10-10-2011 9:19 AM

COLTS are in the LUCK SWEEPSTAKES...I say keep losing, pull the Rogers Farve thing and in 2-3 years when Manning is done have Manning call plays for LUCK. Perfect year for Manning to get hurts.

11 for 11. Niners looking good going into the bye week!

sidekicknicholas 10-16-2011 6:30 PM

Woo 9ers!

Can the Packers run the table this year? 16-0 and/or all the way through the superbowl?

The rest of their season is:
10-23 - Vikings
11-6 - San Deigo
11-14 - Vikings
11-20 - Tampa
11-24 - Lions
12-04 - Giants
12-11 - Oakland
12-18 - KC
12-25 - Bears
1-1 - Lions

.... winning out isn't out of the question.

ponder86 10-16-2011 6:54 PM

Tampa, Detroit and maybe Oakland are the only ones that will challenge them.
