Im just looking at one to buy right now and wondering the difference between the regular, pro and super? Thanks

the regular and pro are direct drives. The super is the vdrive. Not sure but I believe that the regular air is better that the pro-air. I guess they screwed up on that one. Anyways this is just going off what I have heard on this board, not from personal experience at all.

Is the pro an any good ski boat with ballast empty?

Brad,
I have a Pro Air, and this hull is a better wakeboard hull than a slalom hull. It is however a very good wake hull if you weight it down. More ramp than a super air, but not as rampy as say, a Malibu. Slalom wake is ok, as long as you ski faster than 32 mph. Not a short line slalom boat, but better than a super air.

In closing, if you ski and wakeboard, a little more versatile than a super air, if you ski more than board, then a regular air would the ticket. You'll see people complain about setting up perfect pass on this hull, but it works well if you are careful on where you install the paddlewheel.
