Generator for stereo
 

Hey guys new here, have 04 Malibu wakestter, just spent all winter putting in a new system and I was worried about power, I have 2 stinger agm batteries believe there the 1500 size, they work fine for a few hours, but when they get low I start getting all kinds of problems, I have a honda 2000 and 3000, I've looked at the stinger chargers and the progressive dyNamics, I've tried to figure out the math, my total system pulls about 200 amps max, I guess what Im asking is will a 80amp charger work with that Honda and keep me charged all day, thanks let me know what other info u need, I'm still new to this

No just while beached, for those party weekends, I'm just fine on batteries, while running and riding, only big weekends when we tie up for 3days with no way to charge up at night, I was thinking I could start it up and keep the batteries charged while boat is off, and playing music for 8+ hours

If that charger plugs into 120VAC, you won't be able to draw 80amps off the EU3000

Only about 25 amps max.

80 amps of 14.4V dc charging draws 1150 watts. which is around 10 amps at 120V AC. im sure its not all a straight conversion and there is some loss but a 2000W gene should work fine.

That's pretty much what I have figured out too, it's looks good on paper and in theory, I just have always had battery and charging issues so Im hoping this will be a fix
