Look into Adobe Premiere and Premiere Elements.

will Edius and Premiere allow the HG10's files?

ive never used final cut. but we bought sony vegas 9 platinum. and we got it for like 80 or 90$ from amazon. ive never used final cut, but sony vegas supports alot of file types and is very easy to use. its my favorite video program that ive used.

as most video editing software though. it runs a little slow if you dont have a fair amount of ram. the computer i edit on, has a quad core with 4 GB of ram, and it keeps up very well..
