Why would that hurt? People are coming town for this kind of stuff, we are coming from Vegas and will probably make it over for it.

Why? Do you think these guys don't go out in every town their in? The drunkest guys are ones that didn't qualify for the finals, that's all.

The ones posting that aren't from Az.. This place is right off the college and usually a total wasted debauchery. It's often referred to as "male onlys" due to the excess sausage and flowin' beer and booze. It's not a typical watering hole, it's where kids go to get effed up for cheap. They do the 2 dollar you call it's when college is out to keep the cash flow. All I am saying is people in 115 degree weather (meaning most are dehydrated) and excessive amounts of cheap booze = pain for people attending. I did not imply riders would go get smashed I was simply saying it could be a recipe for disaster is all. If the local vibe mixes with the wake crew it can be a mess. <BR> <BR>Applying flame suit..... <BR> <BR>Don't call me out for calling the bar what it is.

A bar is only as good as the party you bring to it! The red bull rail jam was a good time. We'll do it up right.

You're calling them kids and you're 25? You're right, it's a college bar but you must understand that half the tour isn't old enough to even get in. Plus they let us do events there often and are very accommodating. This was a last minute release and most of the attendees wouldn't meet dress code requirements if we did it in old town. <BR> <BR>Since you're the savvy bar hopper Scott why don't you rally some talent. You must have some skills if you're only frequenting higher end watering holes...... Everyone keep an eye out for Scott and see who he shows up with? The last time we were at fratfest Baloney's we pissed in the fireplace. The bouncers didn't like that too much. That was a long time ago...not even sure if there is a fireplace anymore. <BR> <BR>I'll be the first to admit that I don't like that bar, but I suppose if the wakeboarders take over it should be good times.

Matt, they were pretty strict at the red bull event after 9-10pm, so I'm not sure. You have my number, we can play it by ear.

I don't know about you guys but a $2 drink always tastes better than a $12 dollar drink. I might live in Vegas but use to live in Phoenix, Maloney's can be a good time. Like Hahn said I'm not lookig to get dressed up to go out and get smashed.

I would stay in ahwatukee (elliot - chandler exits off I-10) if you can off it's right in the middle of both events. It's nice and newer decent neighborhood. STAY AWAY from baseline or Guadeloupe unless you're staying at "the point" You can drink and party in tempe or take rural up north to the s-dale scene if thats your preference. There's decent eats all around there too. There's an indian casino out by the PWT location too if that's your thing. Heck I bet you could get a decent deal on a hotel @ the casino which is pretty nice, there's decent golf out there too. <BR> <BR>Back on my original topic. The pissing in the fireplace is right along the lines of what I was talking about lol.

I know this a little after the fact...but I spent many a nights in Maloney's during college. During the week when school is in it is college central but on the weekends it is as good as the party you bring to the bar. <BR> <BR>So I am sure it was fun last night.
