What do you guys think of this thing? Seems like I could just by a plunger and hose fitting and make one myself. Is there an issue with water pressure? I know when I hooked up the hose to my jetski I had to make sure the ski was running first or I would flood the engine. What are the procedures? You betcha that will work, or you could make one. Made my own for $20 years ago. Still going strong. Hardware store stuff.

just hook up a hose inside the boat where the raw water comes in to your transmission.

those work good <BR>just use a tennis ball on the ground end so it will last longer <BR> <BR>I also use a rubber matt about 2" thick with a hole cut out to fit over the thru-hull. It makes a better seal also

Do like Clint suggested. You can monitor it from inside the boat, it can't fall off as the boat/trailer shifts around when your climbing in it, and no monkeying around underneath the trailer. <BR> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/3183/775413.jpg" alt="Upload">

What about pressure? do you turn the hose on full blast or trickle. Maybe somewhere in between. <BR> <BR>Bill- <BR>So that contraption screws on to where the raw water goes into the transmission?
