Just a poor photo. I have captured some great stuff with the Sony.

As almost anything goes, usually it is not equipment, but user error. Snapped 2 quick photos of front and back before coming to work and that is what I ended up with....

Just excited that I have something that is going to be adequate to shoot my sons hockey(with a 70-200 2.8) and maybe get a few wake shots in. As with all our cameras, this it my wife's....I just get to use it.

wakeboardertj 07-07-2006 11:13 AM

you have the 70-200 2.8 already? or did you already have it? Thats a kick ass lense

E.J.
I'm in the market for the same camera for my wife. Did you shop around, and if so, where did you find the best deal?

deuce 07-31-2006 7:10 AM

Rod,

I did shop around A LOT. At the time I was ready to purchase, Beach Camera (beachcamera.com) had the best deal by like $20... But the websites are ever flipping between best prices.

In the end, I just found my best deal on-line, called my local dealer and told them if they would match, including next day shipping, but minus tax(wouldn't have to pay that online)...I would buy from them. They matched and I purchase from my local shop.... Which in the end, I prefer doing.

So in conclusion... Look at bhphoto.com beachcamera.com buydig.com Those are all reputable and about as good as the prices are getting.

There is a place that Joe U. recommends a bit on here, but I cannot remember the name of the place for the life of me.......
