I tore my patellar tendon 4 weeks ago doing a TS360. Has anyone torn the patellar tendon and if yes, than how long for recovery.

Curious on what kind of knee pain you have when you tear the PT. My wife says I "strained" mine. It was pretty painfull to bend past 90, but I could put weight on it if straight. My knee is now numb in the area where the PT attaches. The pain has slowly gone away on one side, but remains about 20% on the other. It's been two months.
It hasn't kept me off the lake though.

it depends on what you do for your recovery. it could be weeks it could be months. i suggest physio therapy, and then get in the weight room dude.

I had surgery 2 weeks ago to reattach the tendon. The doct. will not let me start rehab until next week.

I actually had no pain when I tore the tendon, more like discomfort, the pain came after surgery.

Actually, he was a pain in the ass at the hospital,
but the nurse was quick to appear with the lube and the rubber gloves.
Also, he didnt tell you he was the first out on the second run so we spent our run time driving him to the hospital. But it's ok, cuz the wife is being so sympathetic, just ask.
Kidding aside that is a major complete tear and we are hoping for a full and complete recovery.

You need to stay immobilized and let the soft tissue start to heal.
Repairing soft tissue is nowhere the same as using hardware to repair bone.
Pushing it now before your time, is a guarantee for failure.
