As for Slingshot vs LF specifically... <BR>I noticed the similarities of the Recoil and the Lyman before but not the bindings... interesting <BR> <BR>I don't think anyone is necessarily copying anyone else or if any one could confirm other than showing dates of production, which still doesn't necissarily mean anything. <BR> <BR>BUT for the sake of dates of production alone i want to say that i think "LF followed SS on the board" (they came out the same year so it is tough call, but i think the recoil graphic came first, correct me if i am wrong) and "SS followed LF on the binding" (the shane came out over a year before so that one is obvious) <BR> <BR>AGAIN, i am just going by dates of release, not saying that anyone "copied" anyone else ;) <BR> <BR>sorry for the long post ;)

Im not knocking any company and saying someone is copying another. Just thought it was funny how close those 2 came out. I saw the slingshots in a mag and thought it was the lyman at first glance. I guess your bound to have overlapping designs. And its weird that Motion watersports owns so many brands (LF obrien hyperlite) but those ones dont come out as similar I feel. <BR> <BR>As far as those other boards posted, not sure if they are just black boards. The bindings look like they have very similar construction. I thought the lyman and recoil had used same colors same paint splash idea same position on the board, with the rest black.
