tough decisions on a new board. help.

i broke my board last weekend and obviously need a new one. I was riding a 2006 shane.

I've been reading up on Hyperlite Murray and Marek, Obrien Decade, and Company Severance.

I have ridden the severance (2009) and really enjoyed it. super fun to flex, and works really well behind the boat. A friend on mine has one he is selling, good condition and everything but the last inserts have a tendancy to pop out apparently. and getting a warranty for it could take a long time due to their availability if that happens? AND does anyone know the max stance width for the Severance for both the single hole pattern and double hole pattern?

OR do i order one of the other previously mentioned boards? I rode a marek 146 tonite. seems to be a really good board, but i'd order the 141 or whatev it is tho.

Do I get the Severance and hope nothing goes wrong with the inserts? or look at the murray, marek or decade?

thanks for any input
