First board
 

First, here's the stats:

-2012 nautique 210
-stock ballast now, will be getting 1100's in rear lockers and bow will be getting extra
-don't surf often, but would like to explore it
-weight: 195
-experience level: beginner with aspirations to get better
-will be ridden by everyone (including 105 lb women)

I narrowed it down to the p5 model x and the colt. Was going to go model x, but the guys at towanza said both are great choices, but the x would be fast and the colt would fit the situation better. Ordered the 2012 colt. Looking forward to exploring this surf thing!!! Feedback is welcome.

If your new to the sport you should also look into getting a surf style board that way you can see which one you prefer. Skim is loose and surf is locked in.

Awesome, thanks for the suggestion. From what I was told this can hybrid with different fun combinations to play around and decide what I really like. Looking forward to figuring that out!

I meant "fin" combinations.

i bet they will be "fun" configurations as well!
