How many people on here have jobs in the wakeboarding/water sports industry?

I'm looking, Heard that it might take away from being out on the water. But I need the cash to be out ther in the first place.
It does take away time, and then you're stuck thinking about the thing you can't do all day.
what do you do?

marine sales and pro shop. Enjoy every minute of it

I do, work in design. Working with Pro-riders on a new concept is a whole lot more fun than designing washing machines I can tell you that.

(Message edited by rico80 on May 02, 2008)

I did it for 4 years and realized I had to quit if I actually wanted to use my boat.
Im in it and love it. Going to events and seeing people stoked on the sport is the best.
i film wake stuff. does that count?
I'm in it in numerous ways, and it is an absolute dream. It's all what you make of it!
In it, to make your bus. work you have to work all summer and on weekends, nature of the beast. But it's def. got it's perks. I ride on the week days and get to take a diff. boat out all the time and try whatever board I want. But litterally worked 70-80 hrs per week all last summer, riding had to take a back seat.
