I am having a problem with my wake washing out on the opposite side ,so i have to land on white wash .it happens loaded or not

If you post up what speed you ride how your weight is setup and what position you run the plate some people will be able to help you. There is a few guys on here with 24ssv's with them dialed.

i ride at 22.5 with the plate up 1/4 with my ballast full ,with 2 to 5 people in the boat. it is washing out when my wife rides at 21 with very little ballast. <BR>This did not bother me much until I rode behind my budys 21'6" vlx .the wake stayed almost perfect. Iwas landing on a nice ramp instead of white wash . <BR>I am going to look at some video behind my boat and try to post it tommorow

in our response lx when we get a crumbly wake on one side everybody in the boat moves round untill the wake is good <BR> <BR>its mostly to do with where your weigting is and if it spread evenly (well sometimes)

the problem I am referring to is after the boat is evenly weighted , I always have the rider run the center so we can balance the boat do to the weight change from my 250lb nephew to my wife at 130lb etc.. <BR>I just watched some video from early July the wash out is worse on the starboard side wake when coming from the port side

I have a 21V. We have a great ramp in both directions. I think your plate should be 3/4 up. The 1/4 up position is more for planing up and waterskiing. The reason the wash changes sides based on the rider position is because the rider is pulling the boat in that direction with the pull on the rope, making the boat list slightly. Apparently the more weight you have in the boat the more precisely it has to be balanced between the two sides. Good luck with your wake!

bill is right, the best plate position is the 3/4 up. also make sure you have enough weight up front. the extra ballast needs to be spread evenly throughout the entire boat, bow to stern, port to starboard. it sounds like you dont have enough weight in the bow. <BR> <BR>i have rode in &amp; behind the 24 with no "washing" problems at all. don't worry---- you'll figure it out! the wake is awesome once you get it dialed.

yeah u should be able to plane out right away but it lookls liek ur probably doign lieka 30-70 weight dist because wake plate should be almost all the way up unless u hav eless experienced riders now if u have the wake play 1/4 the way up then why not just empy ouyt some ballast and save on gas?
