Is it possible to fit 35 inch bfgoodrich tires on a 4 inch rancho lift?

I would think so, I'm looking at doing a 4 inch lift with 35's

It will be tight and you might have some rubbing. Getting wheels with the right offset and backspacing will be really important in pulling it off.

yea that should fit. make sure you get the right backspacing like nu bu said.

so im going to say no, i have a rancho on my 2500 HD silverado and i dont think 35s would fit at all.. My mom also has an 02 suburban with a 6 inch lift and she barley fits 35's. but i could be wrong

can i ask why ur going with rancho?

Well im not forsure, i was just curious about them. Do you have another one in mind i should check out?

RCD Makes a good 6 inch lift.

35's with a 4" Rancho. Front Bars are tweaked another inch and front lower valance is trimmed on the corner. No problems with rubbing on full turn/lock to lock.

Truck looks awesome Dave! There are some people putting 35's without any lift so a 4" will for sure work.

Depends on whether or not it's a 1500 or 2500HD.

If it's a 1500, no, the fenders are too squared off in the front and you won't be able to turn. I did a 7.5" on my 1500 and 35's barely fit. That's also because it was on 22X12's, but the tires were stretched, so that helped.

If it's a 2500HD, you'll need a 6" to clear 35's with aftermarket wheels. A 4" might work, but it'll be stuffed and you'll still have to trim.

You'll have to crank up the torsion bars on a 4inch to get them to fit and ride quality will be rougher. Go 6in if you want to fit 35's the right way! 33's are about perfect on the 2500HD's with a 4inch from all my research.

RCD makes the best lift for chevy or gmc hands down nothing else compares and after a year with that rancho it's gonna be squeaking horribly.

check out www.cognitomotorsports.com ask for justin. his lifts are heavy duty. he swaps out the upper a arms and uses heim jts instead of ball jts. the longer a arms help with the caster on your alignment. he also offers a hd stearing staibilizer kit that is well worth the money. as far as 35's with a four inch lift w/o touching the torsion bars, it wont fit. 35's with a six inch lift will fit just fine. i crank the torsion bars just enough to get the truck sitting level. if you have a 1500 you will definately need a six and need to crank the torsion bars. if you research diesel forums or other forums and ask about cognito people always have positive comments

Mine on 33's is really close when turning.

hyperlite, the 07.5+ 1500's are non-torsion bar trucks, so the lift, steering, control arms, and everything under the truck is completely different.

The OP still hasn't returned and advised what truck he has either.

Of course they fit just sitting there, full lock is where the issue come to play. It looks like you were reasonable with the offset and they don't stick out 3-4" like on these other guys trucks that are posting pics up on here.

The offset will make all the differance.

All the trucks above look awesome! It's nice to see trucks, looking like trucks! Big meaty tires, tons of LIFT!!!! I've never been a fan of the lowered, slammed look. I don't understand why anyone with 4wd would lower their ride. :confused:

After reading the post "what wheels should I put on my NEW denali?" All those trucks looked so ghetto! Just my two bits...........

David Griffith, those are Ion Forged Terminator's in 22X12. They're discontinued already so they can only be found used, unless a dealer has a few sets they're sitting on.

bwilks, nu bu is right, just because it's sitting there doesn't mean it can turn. Evidently you've got a 1500 1/2 ton since you won't reply to the questions about what truck you have.
