Hey looking for a decent wakeboard boat under 10k was wondering what you guys thought of the 1990 comps? I know it's not optimal but I'm near Spokane, WA and can't seem to find anything under ten grand. Also what types of things should I look for before buying this boat. I tried doing a search and all I could really find about this generation of supras were sunsports, saltares, etc. Here's a link to the website if you want to check it out and give me some insight http://www.alpinehausmarina.com/used.htm
Thanks

Just a few others to look at for a comparison sake.
This one is a natique 2001 http://adcache.boattraderonline.com/6/2/6/82783626.htm

A few more supras
http://adcache.boattraderonline.com/6/4/8/83513148.htm

http://adcache.boattraderonline.com/6/3/3/80414033.htm
And two prostars.
http://adcache.boattraderonline.com/6/5/4/83504054.htm

http://adcache.boattraderonline.com/6/6/3/81103163.htm

I think the supra would be a great boat, but these others I showed would be really good as well.

Thaanks for the insight guys, I've seen one of the prostarts the first one with the tower and sacs etc. Which puts out a better wake and also if I do go look at them what should I be looking for to make sure the boat hasn't been severly beaten?
Thanks

As for the wake I don't no they have similar hull designs so somebody else will have to answer that.

What to look for check the hull if there are lots of dings in it and dock damge it shows about the owner. Also look at the prop, rudder, strut, and tracking fins. If they are dinged then it means something was hit. There stringers would be my next area. Tighten the motor mounts with a wrench if the bolts spin as if they are not grabbing the stringers are shot. Also you can do a simple knock on them with your fist if they sound dull they might have rot or water in them. If they sound solid they are probably good. Finally, ask for any maintence records, if the owner keeps detailed records it means they care about the boat. Good luck with your decision they are all good boats.

Hi Keith,
I have one of these and am thinking about selling for a newer ride. I've had it for 6 years and loved it. In any case, I can tell you more about the boat. We could probably talk about under 10k.

http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/8/285119.html?1140388875

Let me know, thanks!

Brett
