Wakeskate for a Wakeboarder
I'm considering picking up a wakeskate to mess around on when I'm sick of wakeboarding for the night. I have ridden a LF Faction, but I really didnt like how loose it felt. I am wondering if anyone can suggest a wakeskate that would feel the most like a wakeboard, just really locked in and stable? Cheap would be nice too, but you can't win em all.

all wakeskates will feel loose until you get used to wakeskating. but a heavier board with round rails will sit deeper and might be easier for you

hyperlite catalyst is pretty locked down even with no fins. its one of my favorite wakeskates.
mitch calls it a small wakeboard. |
I second the Catalyst. It rides a lot like a wakeboard, and it even edges like one too. If you like to ride with a really locked in fealing you can use the fins, or if you are comfortable enough with it's edging, you can easily ride it without the fins (which is my personal preference). It is not the most true wakeskate out there, but you can still do shuvits, spins, and high ollies with ease and control

i like a very loose wakeboard, (used to ride a lyman finless, now i ride a severance with fins) and this board doesnt feel to loose finless to me. you can still edge around on it with no problem.
