The last few times I have had my Sanger V210 out, it has been hesitating at idle and very low throttle settings. The boat has 229 hours on it. I bought it used at 190 hours. It was very well cared for. <BR> <BR>From the previous owners records...it looks like the last service was done at about 150 hours. Should I change the fuel filters? The behavior seems fuel related. At higher throttle settings...it runs fine. <BR> <BR>From what I can tell from the Mercruiser Service Manual, there are two (Mercruiser) filters: <BR>1. The big combination fuel filter and fuel water separator. It looks and mounts like an oil filter. <BR>2. The tiny conical filter that goes between the regulator and the fuel cooler tube. This filter provides additional protection for the pressure regulator. The only fuel that passes through this tiny filter element is return flow to the big filter. Couldn't hurt to change it, though. <BR> <BR>Are there any other filters, outside of the Mercruiser filters, that Sanger puts in in the fuel system? <BR> <BR>Thanks in advance.

No, those are the only two. Also check the distributor cap and rotor wires and plugs. Your secondary ignition components can also cause this problem. By the way fuel/water separator should be changed every year when you change your oil. If it where mine start with fuel/water the cap/rotor and plugs. Use the AC Delco plugs and the merc cap/rotor. Marine cap different than auto. AC Delco # AC 41-993 Merc # 805759T 1

you have 3 <BR> <BR>water sep/ port side <BR>fuel cooler/ starboard side <BR>in line before the water sep, usually screwed into the stringer <BR> <BR>better get a fuel pressure gauge on the fuel rail, or plug it into a computer
