I like the trnasom protector built in to the transform. That interior looks like it would be scorching hot during the summer (Texas) with all the dark colors. The interior (vertical bar size stripes)kinda reminds me of the umpa-lumpa's from charlie in the chocolate factory. <BR> <BR>(Message edited by acurtis_ttu on October 26, 2005)

I was trying to be nice about the interior. <BR>A few other small things I noticed was the position of the driver's cup holder is not good, it's too high, for 2 reasons. Everyone can see what kind of beverage your drinking (think about this for a sec) # 2 kinda like a pendulum....the higher away from the center (in this case the boat hull) you are the more movement, which means spilled beverage everytime you hit a decent size roller. I think the little things (wiring, screws used, lights, use of storage, cup holders ect.) can tell you just as much about a boat as the big things. Just an observation

The only thing that looks moderately decent is the dash.... Everything else.. meh..

Apart from the stripes on the interior it looks great. Whats the spec's, width, weight, etc etc

i'm glad calabria finally made a v-drive that was smaller than their oil tanker. it'll be way easy to sack that thing out now! i like the cal-air-pro-v wake, but it is just too big to easily sack out. the stock 700 is a joke, it needs like 1400 lbs factory. <BR> <BR>the interior is interesting. <BR> <BR>now they just need to go over to indmar and we'd be in business! <BR> <BR>(Message edited by madchild1 on October 26, 2005)

The tower is very nice. I like the sleek look, it's way better than the roll cage on the SAN 220.

There is no way that boat is only 20 feet. The interior is way too big. I do like the tower though. <BR> <BR>Eric

Is that a 6" x 9" sitting on top of the dash aiming up? I can't imagine that sounding good not to mention exposed to the elements facing up like that even with the windshield on top. Maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me but that's what it looks like. I do like the idea of a smaller Calabria.

Stripes mean more seams to wear down over time.

I have not seen the boat. I am not crazy for the interior. Yes it is adjustable wake plate. Also ballast gauges. And the speakers look to be 6-1/2. Same mounting as everyone else, Malibu, CC, ect. The tower is very sturdy. More ridgid than the Boss. But it is kinda low. Also one piece windsheild. Not sure of the boats length or width. Something around 20' long and 96-98" wide. It looks large inside due to the cab-forward design.

i talked to bob (the owner of calabria) a few weeks back and here is the scoop i got: <BR> <BR>new things for the pro v2 include: <BR> <BR>dash <BR>one piece windshield <BR>adjustable wake plate <BR>dual gas fills <BR> <BR>i was told that the boat is a 20' foot version of the Pro V, and was designed because many lakes have a 20' limit on them. as for the interior, the black/gray looking panels are actually supposed to be carbon fiber in appearance. i havent seen them in person, but bob (calabria's owner) suggests that the pics do not do it justice. for me, the jury is still out. as far as hot, my Pro V interior is medium gray &amp; only gets hot if the boat is sitting still...the trade off is that I never have bust my arse trying to make white upholstery look clean...i only clean it once a year! <BR> <BR>believe it or not, the Pro V is only 21'6" long without the platform. at least that is what my title says. calabria achieves the huge interior in two ways: 1) they push the helm (dash) all of the way forward which opens up the interior and shrinks the bow. think of it as a cab forward design. this also helps them to get weight forward, so you never have to use a booster seat to see while getting on plane. 2) they carve out the interior as much as possible. the gunnels are not as wide as those on say a malibu. <BR> <BR>location of the cupholder comment is a good observation...out of site out of mind. however, i keep my beverage in a coozie that hangs around my kneck (gotta protect the bev while driving!), well above that location. i have never had a spillage problem...and my Pro V plows through double ups...good sized rollers are not an issue...

I would buy one for 38 but I don't see this being much less $ than the 43K pro v. I love the tower, the interrior... I agree with the vote for pedro comment!

Hey guys, the link is from our store. As for the interior, remember that this boat was the proto-type. The interior can be changed, I have to admit that once I saw the interior it looks 100% different in a 3D look than in a 2D look on this pix. I must say that this boat is fantastic!!!! 20' long 98" wide and you can surf with only 2 occupants in the boat! Trust me, it will truely turn heads this year. One piece windshield, and a wake and performance that will blow you away. And the redesigned Pro V is a huge improvement as well.

Grady, what is the price on both the new pro v and the pro v 2???

Are they putting more factory ballast in them. Does the new pro v (not the pro v 2) have an adjustable wakeplate? Has that taken care of the porpoising?

dont yall thaink that the interior would get hot as hell with those dark blue stripes? imo white on the interior...

As a former Pro V owner I would have to drive the boat. I definetely dont like the circus look with those stripes inside the boat. That would make me dizzy.

if the interior was red and white it would look like a freakin candy cane.

I'll try to answer a few questions, as for the interior....remember that this was a proto type, we've ordered all of ours with the standard interior. As for the heat, the interior surprisingly doesn't get that hot...I too thought so, but it truely disapates heat. As for the performance, we surfed with only 2 people in the boat, the wake plate is now adjustable from the drivers seat and took a little getting use to...only because I've been use to driving a Pro V and it's just something new...but cromed tip exhaust and a huge platform that is composite is truely fantastic!!!!!!!! People are asking for price, it'll MSRP in the high 40's and probably go for somewhere in the mid 40's...I can't say exactly only because I haven't seen the final prices....but I have to say that the boat was great!!!!!!! You'll really have to take a look at it this year at the boat show!
