Has anyone made a custom swim platform. I am looking into haveing one made from two peices of 3/4" plastic board. Same thickness and shape as my teak. I like the fiberglass ones better than the teak. plus easier to take care of. If you have pictures of yours. Lets see them.

Someone on planetnautique redid his wood one with LED's around the outside.... so not really what you're looking to do but he did a really good job, just search for LED SWIM PLATFORM on pn

several nautique fiberglass platforms with the air logo were made by someone on either here or pn, I can't remember who, maybe Grant does...

A guy named Jason Black made a Custom SAN swim deck. With the AIR logo routerd into the top deck it was /is super nice. It was made from super high strength plastic. He owns a Plastic Manafacturing company. He sold his SAN to Cliff Griffen he bought his SAN and has the swim deck Im talking about. Mabey he can post some pick's of it. If you want one made Im sure he could make one for you. It they were around $600 if you intrested I can give you Jasons #

bill_airjunky 09-19-2007 9:27 PM

Yea, it is. I sold Chris his first sheet of Gator Grip after we met at Boardstock in 1999.
Let me tell ya how thrilled I was for him about his a "new business idea".
I renamed it to Traxx only to differentiate myself from the jetski market where GG got it's start.
