Hi there...

I'm looking at getting a new handle and line, cos the one we currently use is a cheap $20 starter waterskiing job...

I'm in the UK so everything is a lot more expensive, but I've seen a few deals on poly e ropes... are these the same as spectra ropes? Some of the deals I've seen say Handle + Spectra rope, then when you click on details it says poly -e rope.... whats the difference?

poly e was the first wakeboarding rope made. It has limited stretch but is a good starter rope for a good price point. I have one of those and a neoprene jacket expensive thingy (cant remember the name of it) accurate line and it is not too noticable of a difference to sweat unless you are a pro. It is heads and tails above a ski rope though and that is the main part.
