I have my stereo all set up and it works fine execpt I get a loud pop from the speakers when I change tracks on a CD or if switch from FM to CD. Any clues on why this happens? Thanks

Sorry to tell you your stereo is probably grounding out and It's the actual stereo.It's like when putting the volume up and it makes that scrachy noise till you stop turning the knob.

It has to be a PANASONIC Deck, Ive always run into this problem using Panasonics.

It's actually a JBL MR-22 that came with the boat.

I had the smae problem...not popping but lots of ground noise...mikeski told me to ground the stero to the amp power as well as the powerr wire....no more ground noise now.
