Hey guys, was speaking with a few friends the other day, we got to talking about pulling kickflips and one of my bro's said that an unknown local in either Padre or Corpus (Those are about the only good ocean surfing spots we have on a regular basis, aside from our secret spots along the coast<img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/biggrin.gif" border=0>) stuck a kickflip and rode it out on video and won the Volcom contest. I have not been able to find video, or even any press for that matter announcing a winner. Anyone else heard about this? Just wonderin

I have seen one guy that is really close. Haven't heard that someone rode away.

It wouldn't surprise me if an unknown wins it. I know of 4 people (all of whom would be considered unknown) that have landed them but just haven't cleanly rode out of one yet.
