I'm buying new tower speakers this week, but don't know much about speakers. I have a $500 limit, and looking at <a href="http://www.fluidconcepts.net/Pages/Speakers/speakers.htm" target="_blank">http://www.fluidconcepts.net/Pages/Speakers/speakers.htm</a> or <a href="http://www.bartswatersports.com/catalog.asp?P=7071" target="_blank">http://www.bartswatersports.com/catalog.asp?P=7071</a>. Tell me if these are any good, worth my money, etc. Thanks.

I have seen both of those and others on e-bay. <BR>You could get two pair of Sonys there. I use Sony speakers. <BR>~S~-

You might want to consider the cost of cable, amp, speaker wire, and pro install before you spend your money. It would be sad to buy the speakers and not be able pay for the accesories that make them work. I would say you will be looking at $200-$500 (maybe more for pro install) to install the speakers. Hope the limit is just for the speakers and you will be able to cover the rest.

Josh, <BR> <BR>We have 4 Fluid Concepts speakers on our boat and are very impressed with the volume, quality of sound, and looks. <BR> <BR>Troy is right...hopefully your budget for installation is not part of the $500. A good amp and the misc parts to put it all together, plus labor will be close to what you pay for the speakers, and maybe more. <BR> <BR>Let us know what you end up going with. <BR> <BR>Good luck. <BR> <BR>Josh

I've got a question. Anyone put tower speakers on and not been able to use their Bimini any more? That's the only thing holding me back from buying...
