should i keep the fins on my wakeboard i have had them on for a while now i i have heard the can help with me stability but i dont know

Well does it track almost too well for you? If you like the feeling of a looser board then take em off. All you can do is try and put em back on if you dont like it

Its two minutes with a screwdriver. Feel free to change your mind

i'm riding a 136 premier right now, didnt even bother trying it with the fins. Just took em off. I'm glad i did, becasue even without the fins, its still more locked down than my old parks. Thats just my situation. i'd definetey try it without em. if you have good edge control, you really dont need em.

Take them out. A lot more of a feeling when riding without them. I like it a lot!

yeah, lose the fins, it might take some getting used to but once you get the feeling for it, it will make you better at edging

What about jib ribs in premier. Is it a big difference if they are on/off.

i would say learn how to edge properly without them, and then go ahead and put them back on. my theory is that they can't hurt your riding if you're edging properly...which means they're only going to help you on a sketchy landing when trying something new. the trend seems to be to "lose the fins"...but i'm not sold on it yet. follow jamie's advice....take 2 minutes and try it for yourself.

I tried taking the fins off and it was too slippery. It made it very difficult for me to feel that coasting effect when I'm outside the wake getting ready to make the turn in to the wake.
