LF watson or Shane
looking at a 134 in both 2010 models. Pros to owning one over the other, and differences? Intermediate rider...spins and a few inverts...coming off a 141 which in my opinion was just to big.

My opinion may not be the best since I haven't tried either of them but I'm in the market for a new board and time and time again people say that the watson is the ultimate board. I havent heard much about the shane though...people say its a nice board but when given the option it seems like most people pick the watson.

owned both. get the watson. one of the greatest shapes ever created.
the shane does have more surface area. but is quite heavy. |
I have rode both, and love both shapes. If you want a fast, soft landing board get the shane. It pops great and is supper soft. The watson is by far the most forgiving easy riding board i have ever rode. If you want a more aggressive, fast board the shane is great. You cant go wrong with the Watson though!

I ride both the Shane and Watson, but my boards are 2009 models. I can't remember if they changed up the shape in 2010 or not? Anyway, I personally feel the Watson has a bit more straight up pop than the Shane. The Shane is a bit fatser and not as loose as the Watson which makes the Watson more forgiving on landings. Both boards are fun though.
