which amp do i need?
 

i'm a noob to the audio stuff. i recently picked up a pair of krypt hlcd 8''s to put on my tower and now I need to find an amp to go along with them. i've read up where i should probably go with a syn 2 but my budget won't afford that and i'd rather be able to find a good deal on ebay or from a discount audio store. each speaker is 4 ohm and rated at 180 rms/360 peak. i was looking at kicker or jl audio but once again i really don't know anything about audio systems. thanks.

Just look for a good 2 channel amp that is gonna show them 150-225 watts each. I'd also recommend an amp that increases the watts value when you lower the ohm load in case you decide to add another pair down the road. Arc Audio KS 300.2 would be an excellent choice.

Power output RMS @ 4 ohms: 2 x 180 watts
Power output RMS @ 2 ohms: 2 x 350 watts
