Today i was using a different smaller board than i usually do and i was trying a simple surface 180 and i was having a hell of a time turning the board. My friend told me that i was putting too much weight on my back foot and the front of my board and front fin was totally out of the water. bigger fins on a board will make it harder to do surface tricks. so check that.
