Whirlybird help - Video included
So I have tried the Whirly maybe 10 times. Each time they look like this.

I'm working on them right now as well. but one thing i see is that you need to take it all the way up the wake before you start your flip. this will allow you to take that tantrum straight up and wake to wake. once you have that fix then you can start working on the 360 rotation. cant help you there since i keep going tantrum to blind with mine. hope this helps

Your leaving the wake early and throwing the flip out behind you keeping a lot of tension on the rope which is not going to allow you to throw a Whirly.
Work on taking a good progressive cut in, level out, ride all the way up the wake and taking your tantrums straight up wake to wake. You should feel zero tension on the rope in the air. Accomplish this, then you can start trying a whirly. |
