theres no footie needed of the aftermath he just hit his head pretty bad but no concussion nothin to bad.
I was talking to him on the phone after it happened and he told me his helmet flew off his head before he hit his face on the actual rail and thats why it didnt protect him in any way:[ he didnt even have a plastic strap on his helmet. the helmet was held together by a knot and it was always really loose on him when he was riding. sketcy. needless to say hes riding with a different helmet now lol.

What happened exactly? Did the tip of his board get caught in one of the spaces where the PVC material connects? I am so confused....

It looks like his nose got caught under the top layer when he tried to ollie on.

yeah Graham is right. like I said he was lining up to the incline from the side instead of just going straight onto it and as he was ollieing from the side the tip of his board went under the rail and got caught. that threw him into the frontal motion that was so intense that his helmet flew off and then he hit his face pretty good on the rail. ouch

I've always been curious as to how it would be if and when someone hit the rail like that. It seems I see a bunch of videos of people needing to pop up a foot or two above the water to get on some rails. Man... if you misjudge that by 6 inches... ouch.

Todd is THE MAN. Right after that he slayed rails all day with us. He's ok, the swelling is gone and he has a new helmet.

Is the rail ok? (Not that I don't care about his safety but obviously it sounds like he is ok) Just wondering if they had to repair the rail after that. He hit it with ALOT of momentum.
