Anyone have the real scoop on the show next week? Not looking for a boat, just something to do and it would be nice if new gear was displayed and such. Forget it if it's all redneck gear, camo boats and off-roading aren't my bag.

I'm heading down next weekend, probably Saturday. Looking for gear but don't think we are purchasing anything. Already got myself set up for the boating season already.

Razz, when are you planning to go?

razzman 03-05-2009 6:33 PM

Not sure yet. Trying to get a group to ride up for the day so still in the planning stages.

Any rail jam at the show??

hillbilly 03-05-2009 9:51 PM

How you been Doc? Hope the family is good.

I'm pretty sure their will be a couple vendors their with gear, Not sure about a rail jam ?

dabell 03-06-2009 6:30 AM

Ditto on the rail jam. I don't think there is one scheduled. But, you are sure to get some awesome sales on over stocked inventory from the companies that are planning to be there.

Been good Hillbilly. We're in Orlando right now. The guys have been having a great time at OWC all week. Heading up to Gravity Research in Georgia this weekend. How have you been?

Sup guys, saw that you were talking about the Sac Boat show. I work at Larson Marine in Rancho Cordova and both of our stores are giving away free tickets. So come by either store: Rancho Cordova or Stockton and take advantage of the offer. Im not sure what gear companies will be attending, however you should def check out our pro shop when you come by for the tickets. Hopefully this was helpful for all of you, if you guys have more Q's repost and I'll try to find them out if I dont know.

I'm wondering how many buildings they will use?
I went to the surf & turf show and they only used 1 building.

This should be bigger just because it's the only show around I hope.

David you can always find something else you need...lol

CIE crew will be in effect. We'll be cruising around in the CWB/Mastercraft areas. Without a Pleasanton boat show I'm thinking the industry will be putting a lot of focus on this show. I'm hoping for a good turnout and some nice displays.

Hill.... You know we're planning to party friday and saturday nights. Put your drinking shoes on, son.

Just got back from the boat show and talking about a small event. However, that Byerly boat was wicked Didn't take the camera so no pictures but there was 2 Axis A22's, 6 Nautiques, 6 MC's, 3 Bu's, 2 Chappell (sp?) playing their stupid video about wakesurfing is okay in an I/O, 2 pro wake shops, and various smaller boot venders. Overall, it took me 1.75 hours to go thru the entire show and I was going slow.

BTW, Randall Harris is in town and will be by the Axis boats.

I just got back from the SAC boat show where I spent a lot of time looking at 1) CC 210, 2) BU VLX and 3) MB WB.

I was amazed at the MB WB. Its a SWEET boat off the water. Amazing space. Nice interior. Nice cockpit. Excellent tower and Bimini. Very cool ballast system.

I liked the BU VLX. A very nice interior. Not so thrilled with the tower options. Not so thrilled with the dash and the funky windshield.

I dig the CC 210 but mostly for the wake.

To me, its all about what the WATER tells. I really want a less RAMPY wake than my 2000 BU.

I will test ride all three this spring and easily pull the trigger on the MB if the wake is nice (like the new CC 210)
