Here are a few pics from our day at Lake Perris 12/28. BEAUTIFUL yet very cold day. In the first pic you see steam coming off of the water - it was that cold! Water temp 54 and air temp in the morning was 34! Ouch!!!! Great day though. There were a lot of other great pictures (should have been great pictures anyway) but they came out blurry. Anybody have any recommendations for a good sports oriented digital camera? <BR> <BR>Anyway, thanks to Sean Jackson for inviting me - he even remembered to bring the swimstep for the boat this time. haha. I'll never let him forget that one. <BR> <BR>Oh, thats Sean doing his "Jesse James" impersonation. <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>

Ok, having a problem here. I reduced my pics to 900x600 and wakeworld is still telling me that they are bigger than the max allowable 1000x700. Any ideas?
reduced to 600x400 to see if that works - no luck. Recommendations?
try smaller <BR>

those temps are just like up here on the central coast. I saw 33air and 52 water in the AM yesterday. by the aftrenoon it was good 60 water and 64 air....thank goodness...

I tried posting a pic on here too and after shrinking it twice it still wouldn't allow me to post. Maybe something is wrong with the server and uploading attachments?

that or your weight (bit size) is still too big - it's not just w/h dimensions but if it's over 100k it won't accept either. <BR> <BR>jim, check out this thread <a href="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/87667/88259.html?1072580619" target="_blank">http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/87667/88259.html?1072580619</a> by bill j. his new canon digital takes excellent pics. <BR> <BR>the audio, visual forum would be a good place for your question in general (<a href="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/87667/87667.html?1072639957" target="_blank">http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/87667/87667.html?1072639957</a>) <BR> <BR>we had similar temps at elsinore yesterday. in fact the folks i've ridden with all this month have been violating the 100 degree rule all over the place (literally, canyon lake, elsinore and castaic)! <BR> <BR> <BR>(Message edited by deepstructure on December 28, 2003)

the hundred degree rule - is that something like if the air and water temps don't add up to 100, you should be going to Blockbuster instead of the lake?
Its user error. Try again.
I'll give it another try tonight when I get home
derek - yep, that's it. lol on all the accessories you need. were you the one out there in a rash guard and shorts? someone was crazy practically trunkin' it that day - unless they had a shorty on that we couldn't see. still crazy tho...

Hey Jim, <BR> <BR>Maybe you should start a thread like "Sean's checklist" or "creative ways to enter the boat without a swimstep."<img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/lol.gif" border=0> <BR> <BR>OK, I'm dying to see my "Jesse James impersonation." <BR> <BR>You're welcome anytime Jim, I look forward to being sore for 3 days after being riden by your air chair.
My back muscles are sore too. I ended up spending most of the night at work last night so I will try again tonight - probably start a new thread though.
Sean, Send me your email address (having lots of comp problems uploading and getting to your email via wakeworld) and I will send you the pics and you can upload them. <BR> <BR>I dont know why they wont load - they are under the 700x1000 dimension and well under 100 kb.
