I am lookin to buy a board pretty soon, but i would consider myself a beginner. Should a beginner get a three stage rocker or might that be difficult for me to ride? I am looking at either Obrien Skyla or Vixen for a three stage or the Jett or Angel for a continuous, but I am not sure how to choose. I am 5'5 and weigh a buck fifteen. Please help!!

oh yeah, the shop that sells obrien products up here in minneapolis does not do demos so that is not an option. thanks again.

Your the same height and weight as me
I've ridden 3-stage since I first began so I know nothing about continuous. I'd choose the Skyla if I were you. It comes in 135. I think thats the perfect size for our height and weight. The Vixon is rather short, 132.

The 132 length is plenty for 115 lbs the 135 would be best if you were closer to 150

You're going to be great with the 135, I am 95 lbs and I can ride a 134, and im about 3 inches shorter than you. So you're going to be okay with that one. Post pics!!
