Tranmission maintenance on Honda Accord 2003
 

My buddy is saying that transmissions on Honda's should be checked at 85000 miles. Anybody heard of this and what is there to do but change the oil and filter?

Manual says 108K. I have 110 on mine and just did coolant, plugs, tranny drain and fill, and had them listen to the valves. They were fine.

Service manager told me that's all that's really needed (he's a client).
