This exact pump came with my boat but one of the electrical wires is broken(came out of a coupler, can't get it back in), i have two fat sacs(500-600#s each). You will probably need to make the connection water tight. I am sure you can do this by cutting off the boot, reattaching the wire, and then using tape and silicone sealant to waterproof it. <BR> <BR>Also, That is just an attwood pump and you can pick one up at wallmart for $16-$20. Just cut the wires off the old one crimp them to the new pump and put the hose on the new pump.

Get a heat shrink butt connector from your local auto parts store. Once you shrink it, it will be water proof.

As far as manual systems go, that's a good pump. It is faster than others with higher ratings

ya you have to dip it underwater to prime it then you can surface it once it is pumping

When filling the bags i attach the long hose end to the bag correct, when emptying i just reverse it correct, there is no way to just change the direction of the flow is there?
