do you guys like the shane handle or the soven handle more? <BR>talking to collin about warranty and he said our 08 watson handle could be replaced with the 09 shane or soven handle.

I like the Soven, really light, very soft... but only used the shane once.

Its just round grip, little thicker than the normal size, curved plastic at the ends, and just thin line to the mainline which keeps it from being heavy

o okay, i think we might go with that one then. any idea how long they last? we bought the 08 watson, and after 5 min the grip was twisting and bunching up

Every LF handle i have had has never lasted a single season. I'd spend my money elsewhere no matter how nice it looks or feels. <BR>It's not something they have ever made well, IMO.

hey layton, thanks for the advice. we have the 09 watson handle and its holding up great. plus the grip on it is killer! best handle ever. <BR> <BR>BTW i sent the 08 watson that fell apart back to LF and they shipped out the soven to me because i didnt want another 09 watson. it came in the mail yesterday its actually pretty nice. if you have felt the marek handle, its got the same basic triangle shape, but much more mellow, not such sharp angles. plus the grip is a little softer. i think i might like it.

Nah, i haven't checked out this years LF handles. Im not a big fan of the leather wrapped handles by few companies. <BR>I am waiting on my Helium TCHII to come back from warranty. I won a proline faction in a tournament recently so when i get the helium back i'll decide if i like it. I do like the rope holder thing that the helium handles have though.

yea the 09 watson isnt the suede grip. its so dope. supper soft, perfect diameter

let me know after riding with the soven handle how you like it, i used the proline synthesis at the begining of the season and i couldnt hold on to the dang thing, after like 5 mins of riding my fingers would get super week and id have to let go...maybe the soven is better.
