I always loved that old school Trip artwork. Reminds me alot of the art that ...Lost incorporates into their products.

vista 01-26-2009 6:34 PM

Excellent Jeremy. Wow, never knew about putting boards together like that. I'll post something on these asap!

vista 01-27-2009 10:38 AM

Latest post with thanks to Jeremy. Anyone else got anything? Especially looking for artist info.

http://deckxhibit.blogspot.com/

wakerider111 01-27-2009 6:15 PM

wakebrdr38 01-27-2009 7:36 PM

the guy that did a lot of the byerly work and other hyperlite stuff sells the artwork occaisionally on ebay. I found his site and it showed all his stuff

vista 01-28-2009 6:50 AM

Hey Kevin, That'd be so cool. Byerly stuff has such a distinctive style. I had a quick search there and couldn't find your post. What's the name of the guy or what's his site url?

Anyone know the name of Ricky G's tattoo artist? I know he does all Ricky's boards too.

Cheers!

wakebrdr38 01-28-2009 7:17 AM

Son Duong is the guys name. He is one of hyperlites artists. Hes got some interesting stuff. The catalyst board graphic with the wierd face is NOT what i thought it was lol. I think they had to edit that one! Here is a link, and just do a search cus i know he has an official site too...

http://www.coroflot.com/public/individual_set.asp?set_id=229136&individual_id =226181

I love the TFD graphics. I have always thought it was one of the sickest looking boards for that year model

vista 01-28-2009 3:19 PM

Cheers for that Kevin. That's exactly what I needed.

Keep 'em coming people!

62lincoln 01-30-2009 3:44 PM

Darragh

my tattoo artist name is Kaib Knight, but hes moving to Hawaii in the next week or so.

thanks

ricky G

I wouldn't mind having a few of those blimished boards to hang on the wall at the lake house. Great unique art work at its finest. They should come up with some fake boards and sell them as art work. I bet a lot of people would buy them. Help stimulate the economy.

vista 02-01-2009 2:58 PM

Thanks for that Ricky. I'll see about putting together an Artist Feature on him and his work by contacting him or web research.

David, ebay is pretty cool for picking out old boards. Maybe you could find one or two there. There are also a few companies out there that will implement designs onto skate decks, and they're quite reasonable. Not as good as seeing it on a wakeboard, but still.

Plus, I've a few ideas for the Deckxhibit blog, one being a board design contest. I'll keep everyone posted on that.

vista 02-12-2009 6:03 AM

Just to update you all. After a bit of a backlog, We've just run a post on Deckxhibit on Kaib Knight.

Check it out.

Any more submissions, send them to info@deckxhibit. com

Very cool blog, I have been a designer in the wake industry for almost 16 years and have done board graphics for such companies as: Ronix, Hyperlite, FullTilt, Slingshot, and Jstar just to name a few. I think the wake industry has grown leaps and bounds (especially creatively) as of late and am very excited to see where graphics are headed in the upcoming years. I will go through my backup hard drive and post some of my more memorable graphics from the past.

Blaze

vista 02-15-2009 7:28 AM

Sounds great Blaze. If you've got a folio online post that link too and I'll run a feature!

Thanks for the feedback too. I'm looking for people to help admin the blog too by the way! Any volunteers?

blazenkk 02-15-2009 4:54 PM

Here are a couple links to some of my work:

http://www.coroflot.com/public/individual_details.asp?individual_id=237306

www.blacksmithbrand.com

Keep me posted on the blog and if I can be of any help.

Blaze

vista 02-15-2009 6:15 PM

That's excellent! I've just realised I'm a big fan of your work. Those Premiers and the new Mana are sick.

Will keep you posted for sure.

Thanks!

vista 02-18-2009 5:26 PM

Finally got your feature up there Blaze. Let me know if you need anything tweaked.

Thanks!

wakerider111 02-18-2009 8:13 PM

saw an interesting thing on the Co. website/blog on the history of skate shoes... not sure if it really goes or not with your blog as it (your site) is focusing on boards?

i also started thinking that maybe the ol' Bad Ass wakeboard bindings might serve well for a subject matter on your site. the first (and only) bindings to ever feature graphics. very narly graphics at that too

vista 02-19-2009 1:39 PM

Hey Jeremy,

Yeah, I saw that. I'll see about including it alright, although I don't want the blog to become too general, and therefore harder to manage. The Bad Ass binding idea is good though. I'll have a think about all this.

Thanks again for your input Jeremy. Just PM-ed you there.

Anyone else have any more suggestions send 'em on!

Thanks!

blazenkk 02-19-2009 2:01 PM

Thanks for the post it looks great! Again, anything else you need hit me up.

Blaze
