Anytime on getting those pics of the MC showing how the attachment is made. I am sure it's just pop rivets. Prove me wrong.

Have you ever been referred to as "not the sharpest tool in the shed" ?

bftskir 02-06-2014 1:48 PM

My mastercraft fell apart.

I had my prostar 205V for 10 years. No "pop rivets" fell out. I also didn't have to replace any obsolete wooden stringers.

Ooooooh my feeling got hurted.

Where's the close up pics...I can see what looks like pop rivets in the pics already posted.
Show me how it's more than that.

aricsx15 02-06-2014 2:25 PM

There are no pop rivets....... they are large SS screws. I can't believe I'm actually having a build quality war with a moron that screams sanger is better than all. Let us know how those wood stringers are rotting, and how build quality is "coming soon"

bftskir 02-06-2014 2:28 PM

There's only one reason to not post the close ups...

From wakeboarding mag:

Hull: This is really where Sanger stands out. The hull design itself is based on the company’s more than 50 years of experience crafting boats, and the company is always evolving the patented Velvet Ride bottom to make it handle like a dream. The construction involves a material you rarely find in today’s wakeboarding boats: wood. Hand-laminated sheet fiberglass combines with Aqua Beam nonrotting wood-core composite stringers for a very strong boat with a very smooth ride.

No surprise that no pictures were posted. Afraid to show how the "attachment" is made.

I can't believe I am even getting involved but here are a few pics of a boat in our shop right now getting some upgrades. I was able to snap a pic showing the screw poking through. I'm sorry but I am not going to remove the rubrail to get better pics for you.

My Sanger is absolutely incredibly well made, SOLID as a rock and has absolutely the best barefoot wake ever on any boat, inboard, outboard whatever.

Funny how when Stancraft builds an X30 out of wood they can get a quarter million dollars for it...but it's just wood.
